Etobicoke Bathroom Renovation with Double Vanity
About this Etobicoke bathroom renovation with double vanity
This Etobicoke bathroom renovation transformed an outdated main bathroom into a contemporary, family-friendly space anchored by a warm wood double vanity and large-format porcelain tile. The owners wanted a layout that worked for two people getting ready at once and finishes that would hold up to daily use without showing wear, so the design balances clean minimalist surfaces with practical storage.
We started by stripping the bathroom to studs, then re-routed the plumbing and electrical rough-ins to support the new layout — including a double-sink vanity and an LED mirror in place of the original single fixture. The walls and floor were waterproofed and prepped for tile, and we installed large-format porcelain tile on the wet wall behind the tub/shower combination and across the floor. Large tiles mean fewer grout lines, which is easier to keep clean and visually expands the room.
The tub/shower combination uses a rainfall head for soft, even water flow, while the wood-grain double vanity adds warmth against the minimalist porcelain. A wide LED mirror above the vanity provides even task lighting without a separate fixture, and the quartz countertop ties the vanity hardware to the rest of the room. The finished bathroom feels bright, current, and built around how the owners actually live in it.
