The Pearl of Picton – 18th-Century Mansion Restoration

Osoba Renos & Design proudly restored this 18th-century mansion restoration in Picton, Prince Edward County — a remarkable balance of heritage and modern sophistication. Completed in just eight weeks, the project encompassed every aspect of construction, from framing and drywall to the final stages of painting and a complete staircase rebuild. Every detail was executed with precision to preserve the home’s historic architecture while enhancing its livability with contemporary craftsmanship.

Inside, the transformation showcases classic herringbone engineered flooring in a natural Scandinavian tone, elegant tilework in the foyer and multiple bathrooms, solid-core doors, and beautifully crafted millwork throughout. Custom baseboards, crown molding, and trims add depth and definition, while a fully custom kitchen complements the refined aesthetic. The staircase was rebuilt with solid oak treads and risers stained to match the flooring, and the new white-painted handrail, spindles, and posts bring timeless contrast. Both interior and exterior painting completed the renewal of this historic property, establishing The Pearl of Picton as Osoba Renos & Design’s defining masterpiece — where heritage and elegance meet with perfect precision.
