Elegant Home Remodeling in Etobicoke

Osoba Renos recently completed an elegant home remodeling project in Etobicoke that brightened and modernized the space. We began by removing the existing dark solid hardwood and preparing the subfloor with screw-down reinforcement for a solid foundation. To open up and refresh the look, we installed light beige engineered hardwood in wide planks using a glue-assist method, creating a seamless and durable surface. For a timeless finish, we added classic colonial baseboards and shoe mould. The staircase remodel featured the removal of the old carpet runner and existing treads, which were replaced with custom-stained red oak stair treads to match the flooring and a commercial-grade finish for lasting protection. We also updated the staircase with new square spindles, painted in a soft cloud white, along with refinished nosing and handrail. Newly installed and finished wooden posts add the perfect finishing touch, seamlessly blending with the home’s new light, modern aesthetic.
